Let’s keep this simple.
I’m a journalist with a gargantuan passion for community news. You’ll find I am pretty straightforward, appreciably Internet savvy and unashamedly sarcastic. It’s important to me to find the humor in life because I firmly believe this keeps us human. I was raised in Metro Detroit with a loving family and parents with whom I credit my every opportunity — above all, my life’s work is for them.
Currently, I live and work as the local government reporter for The Times Herald in Port Huron, Mich. — previously editor at The McDonough County Voice in Macomb, Ill. You can read my most recent work here. I remain a proud ’12 alumna of Central Michigan University, as well as its student newspaper, Central Michigan Life.
